When the world is struck by a new virus that can't be explained by the CDC or doctors anywhere, a group of friends decide to have a weekend barbeque and camp out to take their minds off all the craziness that is going on. However, a normal trip to the store ends up being a nightmare as the group realizes that their fun day would later become known as Z-Day. With the fast growing number of zombies, the group now must face the challenge of surviving the new world around them. A world unlike anything that anyone has ever seen or been prepared for. A world where there is danger and death lurking everywhere, not just from zombies, but from other survivors as well. The group decides that the only hope for long term survival is to find someplace safe, a place where they can make themselves self-sufficient. On their journey, the group quickly discovers that finding such a place may bring an end to them all. With losing members of the group and the growing dangers of the new world around them, the group struggles to stay together and survive life after Z-Day.
